This week on Holy Sh!t We’re Alive we’re talking with Caleb Campbell.
Caleb grew up in a Christian home on a farm in Texas with a deep fear of never being enough.
His high school football career led him to West Point where he made national news and eventually was drafted as a linebacker into the NFL.
Despite his success and fame, nothing could satisfy his deep longing for acceptance, approval, and belonging.
The NFL applied just enough pressure to leave his life in fragments, so he left it all behind.
Through a series of unexpected events he ended up moving to Canada on a whim, and began a journey to heal the emotional trauma that was keeping him stuck and miserable in life.
In this episode, Caleb shares the raw, gripping, emotional journey that led him from a life full of rage, disappointment, and suicidal ideation to a life of radical self-acceptance and deep satisfaction.
